Coaching Scope + Client Acknowledgment
At Evolving Pathways Coaching, coaching is designed to create space for reflection, personal growth, greater clarity, and intentional forward movement. Transparency about the role of coaching is an important part of creating a supportive experience.
The Role of Coaching
Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process. Your coaching experience may include reflection, goal setting, journaling, values exploration, mindfulness practices, and conversations designed to help you better understand yourself and identify meaningful next steps.
You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions, actions, and well-being throughout the coaching process.
Coaching Is Not Healthcare
Evolving Pathways coaching is not a substitute for:
Therapy or counseling
Mental health treatment
Medical care or diagnosis
Psychiatric care
Nutrition or dietetic treatment
Physical therapy
Crisis or emergency services
Information, exercises, and practices shared through Evolving Pathways are provided for educational and personal-development purposes and should not be interpreted as medical or mental health advice.
If you have questions or concerns about your physical or mental health, please seek guidance from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Your Well-Being Comes First
You are always encouraged to use your own judgment when participating in an exercise, reflection, or suggested practice. You may pause, modify, or choose not to participate in anything that does not feel appropriate for you.
If a topic or experience brings up concerns that fall outside the scope of coaching, Mary may encourage you to seek additional support from an appropriate licensed professional.
Emergencies + Crisis Support
Evolving Pathways Coaching does not provide emergency or crisis services.
If you are experiencing an immediate medical or mental health emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource in your area.
Client Acknowledgment
By participating in Evolving Pathways coaching, I understand that coaching is a personal-development service and does not replace medical care, mental health treatment, therapy, counseling, or other licensed professional services.
I understand that I am responsible for my own decisions, actions, participation, and well-being, and I agree to seek appropriate professional support when needed.
Before We Begin
We believe clarity and transparency are an important part of a supportive coaching relationship.
Before beginning your coaching experience with Evolving Pathways, you will receive a client agreement to review and sign. As part of that agreement, you’ll be asked to read and acknowledge this Coaching Scope + Client Acknowledgment, confirming that you understand the purpose, scope, and boundaries of coaching.
We encourage you to review this information carefully and reach out with any questions before getting started.
